A superbill is a document created for insurance companies that details information about provided therapy services. The superbill itemizes information for the insurance company that the client can then submit to their insurer for possible reimbursement for out of pocket expenses.

Be you Speech Therapy is a private pay clinic. However, superbills are offered at client request.

What is Gestalt Language Development?
Gestalt language processors follow predictable stages in their language development. These stages eventually lead to original, flexible language. At first, gestalt language processors communicate primarily through delayed echolalia(scripting).

Do you accept insurance?
At this time, we are a private pay clinic. However, we do offer the option of a superbill for the parent to submit to their insurer.

What will therapy look like?
Following a formal speech and language evaluation, we will develop a treatment plan unique your child. As well as discuss strategies for use at home.

Why child led therapy?
Child led therapy focuses on building trust , establishing connection, and intrinsic motivation. Trust and connection are foundational for our children to accept our language models. If a child is intrinsically motivated they are more likely to communicate with you and have more success in therapy.

How long are typical sessions?
Evaluations are typically an hour. Treatment sessions are 30-45 minutes depending on what is recommended by the therapist after an evaluation.

What is parent counseling?
We offer parent counseling for parents who are interested in receiving additional information and training beyond what can be offered during a normal treatment session.
Example: Parents who are interested in advice for strategies for their delayed talker but are not ready for formal evaluation
